    Default tiling basement with cheaper tiles

    Im tiling the basement with tiles and im having problems getting the corners at the same level, im using a 3/8 trowel should i use a bigger one ?

    its over a ciment floor

    How much thinset coverage are you getting on theback of the tiles....and waht sort of deciations do you have on the substrate...+ or - 3mm( 16/th i think) then you will need to increase trowel size..

    hi take it you mean the tile corners if tiles are cheap more than likley bowed place tiles face to face (shinney side) look along edge to see if its strait or bowed check all sides hope that helpes
