    Default Porcelain strip mosaic

Just got a certain tiler to tile a full room display in my showroom.....what I did was cut a carpet tube right up the middle, sticking both halves to the wall-tiled with 31x31 sheet strip porcelain,in effect giving you 2 pillars;inbetween both he tiles 30x60 red porcelain brick effect and either side of the columns standard with a red porcelain mosaic border running 3 quarters height all the way through, then used same tiles on floor in a herringbone design-looks stunning!
Anyone on here done the same with the pillars?Had quite a lot of customer interest-but most of the tilers who use me and have seen it are running for cover!lol
What's the verdict lads-you creative or what?

Ooooooo Yea Babeh!! Right what i'd do is....

grab some old toilet rolls, pencils, play dogh, a washing up bottle, some colour tissue paper, a prit stik and a pack of silver glitter. Grab the toilet roll and glue the half cut washing up liqued bottle to the end. stick pencils to back end of toilet roll and cover with red and yellow tissue paper. Cover the rest of the roll in glue and pour on glitter. And there you have it a fantastic rocket ship. Here's one i made earlier http://www.angelo.edu/faculty/kboudr..._saturn_07.jpg
