hi lads ,need your help again i'm afraid.I'm doing a wall which is to include a vertical mosaic panel 600mm wide .the problem i have is that the main body tile is 8mm thick and the sheet mosaic is only 3mm thick so by the time i have my adhesive behind from the wall to the face of the main tiles is 11 or 12mm, so how do i make the 9mm difference up. the wall is plasterboard unskimmed,i was thinking of building it out with rsf and leaving it a day to set before fixing the sheets to it or overboarding with sheets of 9mm plasterboard but how would i fix these because the boards are dot and dabbed to a solid wall. also ,how do i stop the sheet mosaic from sagging when moving them and waiting for the addy to set .cheers boys.

Re: mosaic
pack out the area with some rapid-set then tile onto it or use some old thin tiles i.e 5/6mm then tile over

Re: mosaic
as Timeless John says for me. To stop mosaics (on a sheet) from saggig, I start from the top and hang them like curtains and use panel pins at the bottom of the top course of tiles on each sheet
