    Default Estimates.

    Hi, can anyone tell me what to put on an estimate. I've only just started out so haven't done any yet, i've done a few rough drafts but not sure if i'm putting in too much details or not enough! Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Paul, please note the difference between a 'Quotation' and an 'Estimate'. Quotations hold you to the price, which, I have always tried to achieve and only lately have I changed to make 'Estimates' for on bigger jobs, but I explain to the customer before hand problems that might crop up. (usually walls that are untilable when the old tiles come off!)
