Default Tiling floor or wall first?

    Hi All,

I'm now just about ready to start tiling my bathroom floor and walls. Can someone tell me if I should do the floor first or the walls?

Also I'm thinking of tiling the entire bathroom and then installing the bath, wash basin and toilet on top of the tiles. Is it ok to do this?

I have tanked the entire floor and wall as it is also going to be a wet room.

As always any advice is always appreciated.

    Regards

    Chris

    Morning Chris.
First question first, wall or floor first, depends on personal choice, I know some who tile the wall first, I know some tile the floor first, are you having skirting board, a tile skirt ?

It would be a better finish to tile the walls and floor complete for the basin and toilet, as for under the bath as well ?? I can't see why not, as long as the tile fixing was solid.

would tile the floor first! this would make it easier to continue your grout lines from the floor to the ceiling!
