#3 | | Guest | Re: price for removing paint/old tiles? | | went on uk tilers forum last night wen this site down.was readin up on jobs likewise to wot im doing.ther was a difference of opinions.some sed NEVER tile over emulsion,as eventually tiles will come down,others say scrub with wire brush,wash down,prime and tile and others say tile straight on uless flaky of course.any advice here would be great!! | | |

| Re: price for removing paint/old tiles? | | Preferably get the tiles off with an SDS rotostop drill with tile chisel. Prep the surface with plaster if damaged, allow to dry then tile as normal.  | | |

| Re: price for removing paint/old tiles? | | just started a job removing old tiles used hammer and chiesel to avoid to much damage to plasterboard, used fein multimaster to remove paint worked a treat, stripped all in 4 hours 17m2 | | |
