    Default Sealing Ceramic Floor Tiles?

Hi all, just a quick question on sealing tiles. From searching the threads, am I right to think that glazed ceramic floor tiles in a kitchen do not require sealing, before or after grouting? I was under the impression that all tiles should be sealed before and after grouting. Is this not necessary with glazed ceramic? Do cut tiles make a difference? Thanks!

Glazed ceramics do not require sealing. The glaze will protect from any penetration and staining. Polished porcelain and natural stone tiles are the ones that need sealing.

Just to add to that, sorry if its a silly question, but does the grout between the ceramic tiles require sealing?.....

Thanks for the replies Rolly and Ramic! Any thing I should look out for when choosing a sealant? The grout is grey in a kitchen. I suppose its no harm having the grout sealed if it could stain (eg. spilled wine, grease, etc.).
