On the edge of hardibacker
Hi all
Can anyone help me. I have been wondering about this problem I may come to one day, Lets say that someone requires hardi backer in a corner of their bathroomand that you end up having a vertical edge showing after tiling. What do you finish the edge off with? Silicone? A very deep tile trim?
I have asked an experianced tiler and he said use a thinner waterproofing system. But what if the client demands the use of hardibacker?
Please put my mind at rest.

Re: On the edge of hardibacker
I removed the plasterboard first,
so ended the same thickness,
Hardi is great stuff, real strong

Re: On the edge of hardibacker
you don't put the hardie on top of plasterboard! it works as a like for like swap except it has better tiling values!and if you did i don't think there is a trrim out there that would finish it off,it would need to be finished with some kind of listello!
