firstly.
the idea that tilers are much in demand is a bit falsely leading, things are getting tighter now with more tilers training on an almostly daily basis, meaning more jobs are now being done for a lot less money than this time last year due to people trying to get the best deal they can in the current climate, however if you are good at it and can build up a decent reputation work will come your way but this is by no means an easy way to make money![]()

I'd have thought being your own boss was what tiling was mainly about. And although when you franchise you can be sort of your own boss, you'll be governed by the brand owner, and it'll feel just like you're working for a contactor - so why wouldn't you just want to work for a contractor therefore, which will pay you a wage with no investment.
Though clearly right now all, including contractors, self employed tilers and I guess any franchisee of that firm will be finding they need to be much more diverse to make a good living with many older established tilers even finding times tough.
So it's a no from me, I wouldn't buy into that right now, or any other time.

I'm also confused, as on their website it gives an address of the brand owner as being in essex, and the main firm being named CountyCare Environmental Ltd. Though companies house states that firm is based in Telford - COUNTYCARE ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITED - Companies House Reports and Documents
I'd want to know what's going on with that, and also what they do to gain you business in your area, and ask about in your area to see if anybody has heard of them. As they might be strong in X and Y but in Z if they were not heard, YOU would be doing their advertising for them in that area by driving their van and sending them calls etc.

"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes"
Sounds like another scam.
No doubt we'll get a new 'member' coming on here and saying how good it is.
If that's you I'm talking about, don't bother. We've had a few of these recently where some numpty googles for their business name on forums then signs up and his first post is all about how he as a tiler has benefitted from that company etc etc.

Send me £14,000 and i will send you a bucket of tools, that's probably what you will get...![]()

Thats the dodgiest looking website Ive seen for a while.
So do you actually own the van, phone, tools etc on investment?!
Give me 14 grand and Ill give you a van and some tools![]()
