4 inch white floor tiles
Anyone know where I could get some 4 inch white floor tiles? Its to retile a bathroom floor in the Barbican London so as to exactly match the existing 60's 4 inch wall tiles. I can get more wall tiles but they're not thick enough for the floor. I am not too bothered about the exact shade of white as provided I do the whole floor it should look OK. Do they still do 4 inch tiles in US?

Re: 4 inch white floor tiles
Are you sure the existing tiles on the wall are 4'' . I only say this because a lot of bathrooms in the sixties and seventies were tiled with 4.25'' johnsons thin tiles. If they are johnsons 4.25'' then you will definitely struggle to find a comparable floor tile.
H & E Smith do a porcelain 4'' approx. Also 'Old English' do a similar porcelain tile. Both a bit pricey though, but quality very good.

Re: 4 inch white floor tiles
Thanks. They are definitely 4 inch not 4 1/4 inch. I have emailed both of the suppliers you suggest to see what they come up with.

Re: 4 inch white floor tiles
if its only a small area, get some larger tiles and cut them down to the size you need if you use a wet saw with a decent blade you will get a nice finish it will be time consuming as 4 inch tiles are 100 tiles per square m but if its only a small floor you will cut them in a couple of hours
