Re: stain stop plus or colour intensifier
Hello and welcome........neither will give you a wet look....they are impregnators...Topical sealers give the wet look but cannot last long when used outside...

Re: stain stop plus or colour intensifier
Lithofin slate seal will give you a gloss/wet look but will last about a year depending on conditions exposed to.....
I only use lithofin but there might be other brands that members can recommend to use outside and leave a wet look....

Re: stain stop plus or colour intensifier
i believe the slate seal would only last about 1 year at most and 100 m sq would be a bit expensive to cover annually.......and someone did say that teh slate not really suitable for outdoors?? what do you think ??

Re: stain stop plus or colour intensifier
I don't think it's really suitable.....but when you are after a wet look...this will be the problem ..because it is a topical/surface sealer that will give that look and these won't last long outside...
