    Default Tiling onto lino?

I am a beginner and on my 4th tiling job and now have a small bathroom floor to tile,330*330 porcelain tiles, area of 2m2!The lino is already down and seems very secure! The customer doesn't want it taken up but im worried that though it may seem to be put down secure around the edges it may have weak patches in the middle and therefore in 6 months time the tiles may pop up.Should i go ahead with the job,if so any recommendations if special adhesive, primer to be used? or should i insist they have the lino taken up before touching it?

    many thanks

Lift the lino. Tiling ontop is a really poor option in my book as you are relying on the bond of addy to lino and the lino bond to the subfloor.
What is the subfloor? If its floorboards or chipboard it will probably need boarded anyway.
Customer doesnt want it done properly then leave the lino and walk!

The lino will have to come up and ply put down if it's onto floorboards, make sure all boards are secure then fix ply at 200 mm centre's, 18mm wpb is BS but you'll get away with 12mm IMO.

it must come up! you also have no way of being sure the floor is stable enough under the lino either!

Lift it...or the tiles will lift. Make sure you price it into the job though!

either take it up or board over it but screw rather than glue...don't fix tiles to lino not imo.
