spray booth
I was wondering if anyone could help me, my mate who is sprayer is after his spray booth tiling. I was just wondering if anyone else had done a similar job and what tiles, adhesive and grout was used? The floor gets alot of abuse in terms of overspray and chemicals being spilt on it, also things getting dropped on it. What is a good tile to use? Is there special grout or will normal grout withstand the chemicals etc? The booth also gets to temperatures of about 90degrees when things are drying, i know the floor wont be that hot but i reckon pretty hot. Any help would be great! cheers Lee.

Re: spray booth
Was working on a granolithic floor ( the wet version) this week for a spray room and what they do is put a gel on the walls to pick up any dust in the air and every couple of months spray with water to remove, then reapply the gel and repeat the process. I have no idea what the gel contains.
I would use an epoxy grout with all them chemicals

Re: spray booth
cheers for the info, would you use flexi addy cos of the heat? Ive never used epoxy grout before and heard its nasty stuff to work with, is that right?

Re: spray booth
I would use a flexible addy, the epoxy grout is hard work to put on and takes alot of scrubbing to clean off
