Soon to be starting 25m2 of calibrated slate floor. It's a new build and the skirting has been fitted and will have to stay on. Obviously this is not ideal as I'm not a fan of silicone around the perimeter of a floor. Has anyone used laminate floor trim before to combat this? Think it will give a much better finish. Any thoughts appreciated.
used laminate floor trim before, mainly in halls, best bet is to get a colour that matches the skirtings,it gives a neat finish as it'll hide any silicone around the edges of the room!
