Which version of Quickbooks are you using?
At the moment I'm using the 2002 version with few whistles and bells. I don't do estimates on it but it does deal with all my invoicing etc.
I need to upgrade, so I would be interested in exactly the products you are using.

Looks quite good, might try it.![]()

i must still be in the dark ages!
still do everything by hand and book!

I use simple start by quick books, don't use it to it's full capacity though. Pricing software can be expensive and some require a yearly license

i use simple start too it was only 40 quid and now it takes minutes to send a proper looking proffessional estimate to my customers and when i've finnished heres my proffessional looking bill![]()

I used Quickbooks for a couple of years and would recommend it to anyone who wants to simplify their account system. It's user friendly and easy to set up professional looking quotations and invoices. I have now switched to Sage Instant Accounts and wonder whether i have made the right choice. However I can break down my accounts better and anaylise where my best profit comes from and have set myself budgets and targets to aim for.
I had Quickbooks 2004, I tried Simple start but thought it inferior to 2004. As with any accounts package just make sure you set aside a hour or so a week to update, it saves so much time in the long run.
