id stay at home for the time being unless you can find someone who will take you most of europe are struggling to especially spain its something i want to do eventually im only 20 so i know where you coming from but im going to hang on here then try abroad
cheers mate. there was a guy who posted 4 days ago looking for a tiler in Malaga, Spain tiling a bar floor n a couple of toilets, flights, accomodation all sorted, but missed it.lol.
I've been living in Tenerife for the last two and a half years but things are worse here than in the UK. Most of the major building companies have already gone bump with no one to complete the projects.
Why limit yourself to just spain, Why not try searching in places people wouldn't think of like Geek Islands, Turkey, Cyprus, Think outside the box.
There was a company I done some worked for once who used to do working holidays in exchaned for your skills.

The guy whos office I was decorating was saying he had loads of painting work and stuff needed doing abroad and in exchage you get a working holiday. I guess in the current downturn, If you have abit of money saved, Use this as a way as seeing the world and doing abit of traveling.

worked in Canaries and California as a younger man, I'd recommend the experience to anybody as long as you do not set your sights to high. The work experience isn't worth tuppence, but the key life experience is priceless (imo!)![]()
Alot of building work still going on in turkey as outside the dreaded Euro zone. Might be worth a look. Plus ive bought an appartment there, you can keep an eye on the tilers there, i dread seeing it as i know i wont be happy!![]()
