When I had been doing plastering for about three years worked at a job in Bishops Avenue Hamstead, London and it was unbelievable, It was perfect and suddenly realised how good it should be. Looking at other peoples work gives you a view of what quality your looking for.

Re: I'm addicted, it has been confirmed...
My wife thinks im sad as i do that with plumbing and tiling, theres only so many times she can listen to 'look at that pipework its not even clipped, or 'did they bend that copper with a hammer? 'jeez my crazy paving is neater than that floor tiling.'
oh my just by typing it i realise how boring it must sound,, especially after the 15th time.
oh well just got the bug i guess ,and i like to see nice installations. Few and far between now though i'm afraid.

Thats fortunate for the women
and your police record
unfortunately I don't have to go far to see bad workmanship - only my bathroom (look at my other HELP thread)

I get weird looks in hotels, bars and gentlemens urinals as I photograph the poor workmanship,

Dodgy wall tiles in a cafe
Worst tiling ever. Picture shows an old fashioned style radiator in a hotel bathroom.
Just needs a lil bit of grout dont ya think.?

I was out at a wedding reception at a hotel near Sandbach in Cheshire on Saturday night, and I went into the ladies loos during the evening, and stood looking at the poor workmanship. Edges were not flush with each other when the tiles went around corners, grout lines were not level in several places, tiles not flush with each other....
I think I'm getting sad in my old age....

Good on you, fellow saddo
