That's quick partic. if a lot of cutting etc but we can't see
That's quick partic. if a lot of cutting etc but we can't see the quality of the work which is the main thing...
Quality not Quantity for meno way i`d do it in that time.
I will take photos an await your comments
Thanks..
thats bloody quick for me and ive been tiling 18 years . . . its your first job, your either tiling enigma genius or youve taken short cuts . . .sorry but , for a first job thats far to quick![]()
my first job took me a week and that was just one small bathroom and floor....

I finished my first job about a month ago now and it was a bathroom floor to ceiling 22m2 and it took me ages, i did remove the sink and toilet a couple of times so customer could use every night though. Took about 10 days. I was really happy with it after though.
sorry for being pushy Dave, but for a FIRST job. . .thats an act of god, and while i look forward to the photos, they wont show the nity gritty![]()
I couldn't have done that in five days. I did a job 45ms, lines and border carrying on through two areas, and floor carrying through both areas, took me 10 days. though i did have a couple of half days.

Thats very quick mate, i cant go that fast, im quick with floors but so is every one when there flat!!!!!!
look forward to the pics, if there good your a legend.

beats me on time would have taken me longer than that...but im by no way the quickest of tilers that is for sure...![]()
BY THE TIME YOU ARE OLD ENOUGH TO REALISE YOUR PARENTS WERE RIGHT...........
YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CHILDREN TELLING YOU THAT YOU ARE WRONG......................

Im willing to put money on the bits you've left taking another 3 days to finish...
Lets see some piccies!
3 days for a standard bathroom is about right. Assuming everything is ready to go when you arrive....
Big assumption!

That seems like a lot of work to get through in 5 days.
I took about 6 days to tile a complete wetroom, mind you it was my first, and I didn't rush it.
As others have said, quality over quantity. Apart from the bother I had with the cheap tiles the customer provided, I came in on the time I allowed for the job.

it takes me around 4 days for a 24 sq mtr bathroom and i do bathroom refurbs so its bloody quick as the rest of the guys say quality not quantity its your reputation on the line. The customer dosent remember how quick you were just how good the finish is after all remember he has to live with it!![]()

Quick for me too. Not saying you have cut corners, just that I am slow!
I think to be fair it depends alot on tile size, state of the walls and floor, if you have a helper, tanking etc etc. Ive done a full bathroom in a day, 25m2, walls and floors (not grouted) and done a smaller one in near 5 days. Just depends on the job.
I would still book a working week for a bathroom but aim to lay the odd floor or a splashback somewhere!

for me an average bathroom can be any where from two day up to two and half but as we have all said it can depend on all sorts of things, walls, cuts, fixtures and fittings tiles adhesive, helpers and all the other bits that can affect your speed ect.
FAT PEOPLE ARE HARDER TO KIDNAPP
takes as long as it takes mate
life is like a box of choclates nobody likes the coffee one
is that five days without sleep![]()
As others have said deends on size state of walls windows.......... your average 17mt bathroom with normal ceramic good walls normally 2 days start to finish

it was a new build walls all good, will be back to house monday next to do kitchen floor & main bathroom, will take some pics then
quick for me too, does depend a lot on state of walls, how many fittings to drill wastes for, how many nibs, size of tiles etc, quality above quantity in my book tho'
