Default Maintenance/cleaning of Porcelain matt floor tiles

    Hi

Today I ordered 16 sqm of these tiles from Topps: (at trade price)

Kitchen Floor Tiles Di Keope Beige Range

I will be having these fitted on the kitchen floor next week by the local tiler. Regarding the regular daily cleaning, he says that you can just clean them normally, ie mop with water and mild detergent. Topps also told me this, yet once specialist tiler said DON'T use any detergent...just use water on its own! Could someone please clarify? Also will i have to use any specialist cleaners initially such as the ones from this list:

Finally is Keope a good brand of porcelain tiles? I believe they're Italian made.

    Thanks

Sounds like someone (the "specialist" tiler) is being a bit precious. One of the benefits of porcelain tile are it's hard wearing qualities, much more durable than many types of stone and regular ceramic tiles. Mild cleaners will be fine - it's the grout (unless it's epoxy) that is more likely to be affected by harsh chemicals.
