I don't think the thumbs down is directed at your posts but at the tiles ion question. And I think he means more work involved in laying them... but I could be wrong

Topps sheera slate is very straight forward to lay. It's graded and with very little deviation in thickness. The pinker shaded tiles tend to be a little fragile so beaware of this. I lay alot of slate and this is probably the easiest to lay.

They are great to lay...have done a couple of them. Each box has a pattern in and as Yomper says, the pinker tiles are softer. The very black (tend to be the 600x400) may also be slightly thicker, so watch out for those. On the wholes, they are well graded and look fantastic when down.

Fix by eye, as some grout lines will need to be stretched / squeezed. Spacers wont help because of the nature of the pattern. If you draw your lines thoroughly though, you will be fine.

Hope you get it and I look forward to the pics!

Extremely easy to lay, thickness can vary by a couple of mm but should not cause any problems. Looks stunning when sealed. Oh and dont forget, ''any un-used boxes you dont use you can take back for a full refund!'' Good old Topps LOL.
