hi everyone, recently had my old van signed up by myself with a kit from the net,,turned out great,,but then my van died lol so i have bought a new van which is silver,,i just cant recall seeing a silver signed van wantin advice would black be okay for the lettering as the sign company are suggesting white but i reckon this would look naff? any ideas or have any of you guys got a silver signed van?
Why don't you get some black+white paper and cut some letter shapes out and stick them on the side of the van and stand back and view it from different angles to see which colour looks the best before getting it done properly.
i agree anythin that will stand out against silver, it does sound strange putting white or a different shade of silver on, but ud be surprised how many go for it as i worked in a sign shop when left school and its quite popular. Out of interest what shop did you go to?
hi guys, company is sign and print graphics, based down south they done my last graphics for the van that just died recently, twas a peugeot partner got all 3 sides signed for 109 pounds, but thats just for the graphics.took me and me mate just an hour to sign the lot turned out great.
This is mine but is need of major updating grathics and lettering wise its dark blue over light blue on silver.wont let me put pic on cos i`ve used the same pic in another thread,,sign up your van or not ???
My first van was blue with silver writing on it.
Second one is now a silver van with dark blue on it, both work really well together.
I've had many a comment from clients on how good it looks, gives a professional image straight away.
I also took my business cards in and the company did a design around that.
Here's mine - I had the blue inlays done and then silver lettering over the top. That way it's easy enough to make changes in the future and if I ever want to remove the whole lot I shouldn't get any ghosting problems.
