    Default suggestions for new van

    gonna get a new van but cant decide wot to get was wondering wot people on here think.
    will be buying a used van but its got to be bigg enough to get a door in as i do all types of work as well as tiling

    These are also really good. Cheap ( around 20p for 5 minutes i think), fuel effective, and they come with their own driver!!

    I've got a scudo, but imo it's not big enough, but if I got a bigger one, I'd fill it with more junk. The scudo is ample big enough IF!!! I keep it tidy!

    Also have a scudo, and as has been said it is big enough if tidy. In other words, it is too small for me! Mind you I would make a bigger mess in a larger van, so....!!!!

    I've got a lwb Transit..........after racking it out, putting all my tiling kit in, you could still fit a 2 bed bungalow and a small car into the casm thats left!!

    looked at a transit today and a nissan primestar think the spares on the transit would be cheaper and easier to get

    No doubt about that, mate....unless you got stacks and stacks of kit...or you fit carpets!!..Steer clear of the lwb...i'd swear by the Transit tho..

    i bought a new van today vw transporter its great 2.5 tdi mint condition 2001 50,000 miles full vw service history £2500 so any new tilers after a van we be selling my vauxhall combo soon been great van just wanted something a bit bigger..

    I've got citroen dispatch, same as a scudo, big enough for all my tools, and i can get two motor bikes in it, not with my tools though

    i bought a VW T5 for £5400, more han ou got to spend but still a good van.
    if you are looking at the nissan primstar/ vauxhall vivaro/renault ......., they are the same van, get a 54 plate onwards as they have clutch and gearbox probs before this reg

    I've had a 54 plate Primastar from new. Turbo packed up at less than 17k!

    Van was out of warranty Nissan paid 55%, dealer paid 20% I was still left paying £600.

    I've got a Citroen Dispatch. 51. 65000 miles. Was driving home the other night in the outside lane of busy dual carriageway. Stopped at lights at it just packed in. Luckily an electrician in a van stopped and towed me home.
    Got the fuel filter changed and it seems ok now.

    bought a 07 plate swb renault traffic from new in 07..20 thousand on the clock and still love it but really wish i`d got the lwb now cos of being plumber and tiler its just not big enough
