    Default concrete and screeds

    Hi All

Just been to see a customer who has had a burst water pipe.
They had to lay a new 4" concrete base (1 week ago) and then used slc over the top.
How long should we leave it to dry/cure before putting down 6mm insulation boards, then tiling?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Ian

    Default re: concrete and screeds

    Hi Ian,

Down here in Oz we have to wait for 28days for a 100mm concrete topping to cure and 1 day/10mm sand and cement screed.

I'm pretty sure Bal adhesives do a 'Green screed adhesive' though some of the local members would be better placed to advise on that one.

    Here it is found it
