Four tile pattern
I was looking at some old wall tiling today where 4 tiles join up to form a pattern, they were butted together with no grout line but this made the patterns join,if their was a grout gap of even 2 mill i dont think the tiling pattern would look right, has any one come across this situation before or any thoughts on this.

Re: Four tile pattern
sounds like a four tile motif, same as other tiles there should be a gap/space to allow for grout, movement, shrinkage etc.

Re: Four tile pattern
I think all modular tiles are cut to std sizes therefore would butt together ok, its when we tile them (properly ) we have to compromise on the grout lines
