| Floor To High | | Tiling a small porch tommorow, problem is the foor is to high to accomodate the 10mm marble tiles. I need to drop 5mm below the door bar. The front door has a metal sheet running through it and it cannot be trimmed. What methods can I use to lower the concrete floor 5mm? I was thinking may'be score the area into small squares 5mm deep with my grinder (marcrist blade) then bolster chisel out and finally PVA seal it? ( Simular to chiseling out a recess for a door hinge) Any thoughts?
All help very much appreciated

| Re: Floor To High | | I'd raise the front door by 5mm, it would be far quicker I think. I suppose depending on how big the floor is?) | Dan |
