    Default Posh man in Liverpool

Been posting my business cards around Liverpool all week and only got one phone call. It was a very posh man who said 'Thanks for your card. Thought I would call to let you know I think it is a very impressive card. I don't need any tiling doing right now. But if I do I will give you a call'.
Not exactly what I was hoping for from my first call but at least someone's looked at it.
So still waiting for first job. Maybe I should write to Everton FC and ask them if they want their trophy room tiling while its empty!

I done the card posting when i first started out, must have walked wot seemed a 1000 miles, nearly got my hand bitten off by a mad dog, caught a couple doing something naughty up against the parents garage door, and did'nt get one call, i got most of my work then through my ad in the local paper, and news agents window and nowerdays through recomendations, but good luck with the card posting.

    Thanks Phil

just checked Liverpool Echo website. For £70 I can get 4 days in the echo and 1 day in the Metro. Its pretty expensive but one job would pay for it and a few more weeks advertising. I'll wait and see for a few days and maybe get in the paper.

Grumpy, I take Nairn hasn't got loads of tilers cause its a wee place, do you think the drops have helped cause a lack of tiler up your way ?
