the colour scheme is your own personal choice(don't think it sounds too different, would try it myseelf)would maybe go a bit bigger with the grout lines maybe 3 or 4mm,yes they will need sealed and yes you will need a wet cutter!

Re: advice again
The thinner the grout lines the harder it is to deal with any discrepancies in the tile e.g. the tile may not be tuely sqaure so when fixing your grids can look bad. It is easier to make out of square tiles less obvious when you have more play in the grout lines.

Re: advice again
Silver, Stone and cream colour schemes make great bedfellows. Contemporary and neutral. Add glass into the mix and you will have a great room.
To keep the thing balanced and neutral then avoid any primary colours like red, green, blue, yellow etc.
You are on to a winner !

cheers dave. does it need sealing if so before and after grouting is this right. any special blade needed or just the turbo blade in an old plasplugs . a friend has a table cutter would it be better using this. would it be ok using single part flex (bal) i am not upto speed to use rapid set yet. is there a danger of the slow set adh staining tiles.when drilling the holes to fit the toilet to the floor are there any special drills needed. sorry for all the questions mate and thanks for taking the time to answer you are a star... creep creep

Re: advice again
The gulfstone is quite dense....so a coat of lithofin stainstop is sufficent...after grouting is fine...just depends on how confident you are....if not make sure they are dry and seal first...
