hi mate an welcome hav family an friends in dubai ...resession hitting big time over there as for tiling over there mostly down with indian labour not much call for tsf..only way there is become a boss...shirt an tie..best off mate

Manual labour is cheap over there, as Div says suits earn the money over there.

Dubai subcontract a lot of labour from the Indian continent. When I was over there on holiday they were even advertising the sale of labour camps in the property sheets.

The press even claim Luxury Labour Camps

Not to be confused with the old fashioned terminology but a more modern view of accommodation for vast numbers of workers who are paid very cheap wages.

I had a great time in Dubai but there were bus load after bus load of construction workers being moved about during my time there.

Oz is probably the better place. USA is in a slump. There are sub-forums here for both USA and Australia maybe with more info.
