Thieving gits.( Been robbed)
hi all,
Just a quick post to let other tilers in the Teeside area know that opertunistic thieves are operating the portrack area.
Be careful!
Got followed and all tools gone whilst in asda. 10 minutes tops. Watched me go in and then proceeded to rob me of my livelyhood!
Absoloutley devastated!
So if anyone comes across a shifty looking fella selling 365 porcelain hole cutters a rubi ts-40 ts-60+ makita glass cutter and various power tools, please alert your nearest officer of the law!
Thanks for Reading!
Oh yeah, never ever ever ever take out an insurance policy out with Quinn direct. They could worm their way out of Alcatraz!
One disgruntled , fed up, tool free tiler.

Re
Happened at midday on Saturday so was busy as hell!
Apparently that's to their gain according to boys in blue.
A common occurance as they bold as brass park up behind you, pop the lock and empty one van into another. No one suspects.
Got more front than Brighton!
Agree with karma.! And as for skelpin them........
I would if they hadn't nicked my bloody hammer!
Got to laugh or tears would be imminent!

Re: Thieving gits.( Been robbed)
I've got the following that I could spare:
Low end plasplugs wet cutter, needs new 110mm blade
Couple of DIY snap cutters, will cope with 13" ceramic
May have a spare 10mm trowel and do have a spare Mosaic trowel. I bought a new one then found one at the tip!
Poss other bits as well.
PM me your address and what you need, I'll do a dig.
All FOC to you to help you out.

Re: Thieving gits.( Been robbed)
I have been a member of the forum for 2 years now, more or less, and I know how friendly the place can be but I am proud of the generosity of the peeps offering free tools to TMT. I know Brian personally and know he is a nice guy, I have also met Richard and he is too, Leatherface has come up trumps also, this is above and beyond the call of duty and I thank all of you on behalf or Tilers Forums.
Thanks guys.

I would also suggest you go via the insurance ombudsman if the insurance are refusing to pay out.
