Preparation for edges of plywood floor?
Any suggestions for what to do with the edges of my plywood floor before I tile over it?
The ply is 18mm thick. I will seal it as per any recommendations given by the BAL or equivalent adhesive that I use (it will probably be BAL fastflex).
I wonderered if I should treat the edges of the plywood before I lay it in some way?

Re: Preparation for edges of plywood floor?
Yes you should.
Use BAL APD Primer. IIAC you won't have to seal the face you're tiling onto but definitely the edges.

Re: Preparation for edges of plywood floor?
If you are using BAL products, you should seal the back and edges of your ply with BAL Bond SBR neat. Incidently, though fastflex is very good you would be able to use normal SPF or flexy rapidset with 18mm ply. Considerably cheaper than FastFlex!
