    dont know what he was talking about the holding the blade on a sliver cut sounds to dodgy to me but i wasn't impresed with the sliver cut. Totally mashed the sliver up my 10 year old plasplugs can do a better job...maybe slower but better. Thinking about it he was probably going to fast. If you want the best tile cutter in the world look at a water jet, saw one in a builders show in las vegas only £20k, cuts anything, saw it cut a .03 mm sliver out of steel. Might be some fun carring up stairs fitted, in one of those terminator 2/UPS dodge vans only just fit in there, POA probably $50k that was 5 years ago so probably cheaper now.

    Looks like too many bits to go wrong to me and why would you have a splash guard at the cutting edge of the blade preventing you from seeing what you are cutting.

    Still an awesome LOOKING bit of kit.
    Think it would only be worthwhile if you were doing hundreds and hundreds of metres of 20mm thick natural stone every year.
