Does anybody think they'll be any good? Seems quite cheap to me, so perhaps not brilliant quality?

A friend of mine has recently replaced his white one, only a few years old, with another white one from SFD.

The finish is really cheap and nasty. They are usually made of mild steel (cheap) and the paint bubbles around the valves at the first sign of rust, ruining the look.

Bearing in mind that you get brass tails and a mild steel thread there is the potential for dissimilar metal corrosion. Making sure your system has inhibitor in it will help to a certain extent.

Chrome plated equivilents don't get this problem to the same extent.

If they were chrome I would have ordered about 6.
