nice one thats what i wanted to hear lol

Free advertising (except for the cost of signwriting) and Mrs Jones the neighbour of your client wont want to be out done so she will be taking your number.
Win win situation.
Have your occupation as the main text not the company name.

I've had 2 vans since i've been in business, both been sign written, got loads of jobs from it.

had a couple of jobs but nothing to shout about.Where i live the parking is hidden behind the houses so no one sees it,which is a shame...need to move now..lol

it's the only advertising I do! cost £140 for 4 sides. Sometimes when ppl ring regarding work I'll ask politely where they got my number, and they'll say something like "I saw your van at so and so's last week and got your number off it"
So yes from me!

yes yes! do it! do it!
burncross's van looks spot on. its not got to much writing on.

aye it was actually burncrosses van i took the idea from,,simple yet looks the muts nuts. if you put too much on it doesnt look as professional i dont think. i changed the logo and name etc but used burncrosses layout as my template...cheers burncross![]()

Mine not sign written
Beat up escort van - don't believe in spending much on a work van
Also would rather be conspicuous - too many of my mates with sign written vans have had their vans robbed !

Know some plumbers who don't sign write their vans for the exact same reason as Leatherface has pointed out
"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes"

I was thinking of having the estate done, got it priced up but decided against it dont want the car getting screwed over.

ive had my estate car signed up since i started,,had no problems with it,,although i didnt get any direct work from people because of it..it looked okay but a van looks more professional
My vans not sign written due to potential break-ins etc,but do agree that it's great free advertising.I have been wondering about them magnetic signs you can remove at the end of the day/dodgy area etc,any one use these?
Vans are always prone to getting broke into wether their sign written or not. Those low life scum are aware that it a 99% chance that its a trades man van anyway, full of power tools etc.
Its like those signs that people stick on vans saying 'no tools left in this van overnight'. Are they really a deterrant??
But saying that i dont leave any tile cutters or power tools in my van overnight, safely tucked away in garage.

was going 2 have someone do my vehicle with a bit of sighnwriting, good for business i know but woudnt like 2 lose my tools because of it ,its taken me long enough 2 build them up.
i dont see what difference it makes! vans are used by tradesmen usually and we are thought of as having cheaper tools than plumbers etc i guess.
ive just ordered a VanVault 2 to keep my tools extra safe
