Re: what tools will i need?
I only had £300 to spend on tools so Darren at NETT put a kit together for me. And he spends about 2 hours going though the tools you need on the course

Re: what tools will i need?
just add to it as you go along, only advice id say, is buy the biggest flat bed cutter you can afford, cuz then at least it will do all different tiles .

Re: what tools will i need?
Hold off on buying your tools until you've done the course.. You might hate it! Also, the tools Darren stocks are all decent, and pretty good value for money.
When i did my course, i bought a few bits and decided to price up the more expensive stuff on the net before parting with my hard earnt cash... I still ended up buying from Darren, but had to pay the shipping on top... Wish i'd just bought it all at the time lol!

Re: what tools will i need?
Do the course first mate, see what tools you use and like, then think about buying some basics, then buy other bits and peices as and when you need them.

Why not have a look on TradeTiler site(link at the side of the page)they have a starter tool kit.May give you an idea what your looking for.
But like above Darren down at the net can make you a kit up to your price range

Re: what tools will i need?
Have just recently finished the NETT course myself - Darren has got loads of kit for sale there, all good quality gear. He's also got 3 different sets of kit recommended depending on your budget or you can mix and match as you want from his list. I decided to spend about £500 for a basic all round set up and hope to add to this little by little as I'll buy extra depending on what each job requires.
