Default Petrol Station Wash Room.

Does anyone know if the wash room in a petrol station comes under commercial work, also is it just a straight forward job with regards to grouts and wot not, what i mean is would it be a situation where epoxy grout would be used....Cheers.

With it being a buisness i would say its classed as commercial work, as for grouts a modified one will suffice, i would'nt say the floor is going to be in regular contact with contaminates as petrol forecorts are kept extremely clean for health and safety purposes. hope this helps... dave..

No, epoxy grouting would not be required for this type of job. I would class this as a commercial job.

Who is it upto to define a commercial job from domestic, the thing is i have been told today of a garage where the manager is looking for someone to tile the wash room ,admittedly i don't know if this is a washroom for the general public or just one of those little washrooms that are normally stuck out the back of the shop and solely for staff use (if it makes any difference) Hmmmmm.

I would define domestic as in someones house (private property). Commercial property would be a property that is open to the public.

dont understand what legallity has to do with it , jobs just the same as any other job , might be wise to advise customer to use some sort of none slip tile on floor, apart from that no probs!!!

public liabilty insurance you should have as standard, never be with out it... you just never know one day you might need it.
