    Default Tiling on to waxed/boot polished plaster

    Hi, my client has just moved into a house where the previous owner liked the look of un-painted plasterd walls, they have been sealed with clear wax/boot polish, what shall i do to prep the plaster for tiling? can i just score it up a with a saw or do i need to remove/coat???? with something before tiling.

    Defo remove the wax mate then prime prior to tiling with something like SBR but NOT PVA

    thanks for the info, it's ok though, i only have 4 walls of 2900 x 2950, should only take a few weeks to sand off!!
