Re-using tiles
I made a bit of a cods of tiling the last wall in my ensuite (or so the wife tells me !). Amittedly my gauging was a bit out so I ended up with a few rather wide gaps along one end. I knew I would never hear the end of it so having only done it yesterday was able to prise the tiles off and scrape most of the adhesive off the tiles and wall. My question is whether I can re-use the tiles seeing as all the ridges are now full of old adhesive and the back of the tiles are totally flat ? The wall won't have a bath or shower against it so no "wet" issues to contend with. The tiles are pretty hefty porcelain ones 450x200. Thanks

Re: Re-using tiles
It's Ultra Proflex SP + ES and the wall was primed with BAL APD acrylic primer.............no PVA !

Re: Re-using tiles
'tis the same addy that i usually use for walls mate, just go gently with your scraper, it's hard to tile with a thumb or finger missing!

Re: Re-using tiles
Great, thanks for the advice. Great site and board by the way, a lot more helpful than some I might mention, name no names (Screwfix !) where most of the "contributors" seem more interested in talking down to you and scoring points.
