Worst Job of 2008
Just to add the balance to Dave's thread
What was the worst job of 2008 and why?
Also what was the worst job of all time?
I can't say I had a worst job so to speak, but there have been things about some jobs that stressed me out more than usual.
Althoug I was stressed out with the wetroom and it nearly went very wrong, I did enjoy it, so maybe that is my worst job of 2008 from that point of view.

Re: Worst Job of 2008
Worst job I had was 2 streets away, customer got 600x300 tiles with a mosaic border, the walls were so uneven I think the plasterer must have been a druggie and was on a bad trip, in hindsight I wished I stripped it back to the brick and drylined it, as it slowed me down by days.
The mosaic was awful half the thickness of the field tile.
When I came to put the quadrant shower enclosure in, there was a profile missing, and the glass wouldn't fit in the seals, come to put it in and there was no adjustment whatsoever, it over hung the the tray slightly.
I think it was a cheap copy of a Merlyn enclosure.
Absolute nightmare.

Re: Worst Job of 2008
I was working on a wee bathroom, had a few delays at the start, lady didn't know what way she wanted the tiles put up. When i eventually got started, i fired all the tiles on the widow wall, got all the cuts around the window done, then i had to leave, to get my flu jab. As soon as i walked back into the bathroom i realised i had forgot to put the border in. Had to take half the tiles off again, and re-do all the cuts. what a ( NO SWEARING )
