What was one of your favourite jobs from 2008.....maybe a floor you did or that bathroom you remember....

I worked with some nice stuff..but a couple i liked the finished look, rather than just the tiles..

And in the same house i did this one as well....

Both jobs were designed by the customer....i did the kitchen and sunroom as well..some will remember the sunroom pics...

Doing my brothers kitchen/utility/downstarirs bathroom and shower room floors all one big floor in brick bond, biggest job i've done took me a week to do. And guess who forgot to take pictures,he lives about 40 miles away so i'll have to remember my camera next time.

Some very nice work there, hats off to the both of you, Dave, when you say the customer designed it, how much of a say did you have with setting out ? Was that your doing or did they have that planned as well ?

    Thanks

Probably the best from a sense of achievement point of view is that wetroom. The pics are in the album. The pics aren't that good because I used a camera phone and I took them the day after I finished, and the customer had made the room dirty

The pictures are in my album.

I did 2 other bathrooms for the same client and one disabled bathroom - just a toilet and wheelchair access sink. There was hardly any tiling in that room.

The most enjoyable job, however was probably not a tiling job, but a fascia job. Why? because I was working for a really decent chap and we had 3 days of glorious sunshine last summer and those were the 3 days I chose to do it!

my fave was my job up in Glen Lyon, some really nice stuff, set in a beautiful location. It wasn't just the tiling, it was the whole job lot that I liked. I'd open my curtains to a lovely salmon river a stoness throw away, be having a brew, look up and there'd be a couple of Golden Eagles circling about. Will give customer a ring to email me the photies!

Liked doing this 1 for a guy who is a property developer, this is a 3rd floor flat in erskine court, lindisfarne,at the rear of jesmond dene, flat is worth somewhere in the region of 1/2 million quid, was left to just get on with this. He was that pleased with the finished result that he offered me a contract with him.
