Fixing to tiles on plasterboard
What do people use to screw/fix heavier items (eg heated towel rail brackets, bathroom cabinets, shower screens etc) to newly tiled walls on plasterboard?
I have a range of various raw type plugs including the metal and plastic screw in type for plasterboard but can't use them once the tiles are on top the plaster.
At the moment I'm tending to use normal decent quality raw type plugs but am concious that heavy items such as towel rails and shower screens are fixed to the tiles and not much else (unless I'm lucky enough to find a stud in a stud partition wall)
The expanding back type plug can work well on plasterboard but once the tiles are ontop the plug need to be around 10 mm longer to still expand on to the backside of the plasterboard.
Any help would be most welcomed.

Re: Fixing to tiles on plasterboard
Use a stud detector to find the studs in the partition walls, if the plasterboard is onto block / brick work then I've used longer screws and plugs, long enough to go past the plasterboard and into the brickwork. You can also get some longer butterfly type plug/screws which spread quite widley behind the board to spread the load. I've also seen them fitted with normal plasterboard plugs with no issues, though i wouldnt fancy putting too much weight on them.
