Sealing border in the
Tiling Forum at TilersForums;
I have a natural stone mosaic border which will need sealing, just out of curiosity, do many seal this on the wall as I have done in the past or ... -

I have a natural stone mosaic border which will need sealing, just out of curiosity, do many seal this on the wall as I have done in the past or seal them before they are fixed?

i personally clean them and make sure they are free from any dust or dirt then seal them before fixing them..

Thats great, I will do that as this is my own bathroom I am doing in the new year which is quite a large project with knocking walls out etc, so I trying to get as much done as possible before I start.

I usually seal them on floor when on the sheets etc then on wall again if possible after grout dries.as long as they come up good the customers love em.

bathroom boy i seal after fixed youve just got to be clean but everyone has there own methods

thought as much,you will get differing opinions mate,some say seal before you fix,some say fix before you seal and others will say seal before and after fixing,personal preferences mate
