Hi,
Supposed to be tiling my mates kitchen floor today,he only had it screeded yesterday afternoon, and rang me this morning to say its still wet.
When do you think it is safe to tile, would tommorow be to soon,or do you think Monday would be best to allow sufficient time to dry out?
Thanks guys.
Vinnie.

You might get away with a week if you lay Ditra on top first. otherwise as said above, January looks favorite!!

Re: how soon to tile once floor is screeded
i'd definately leave it for minimum four weeks before i tile it you don't want to take chances and regret it later

Re: how soon to tile once floor is screeded
If you use a greeenscreed adhesive and an uncoupling membrane then no probs with moisture or screed drying/curling....
I am tiling a floor of this exact content...screed a week old...greenscreed adhesive( slow setting) for grip and ditra for moisture control and to prevent cracking and the tile uncoupling..also with it being sandstone it will prevent cracking etc..
