    Default Toilet under the stairs

    Looking for some guidance.

Currently looking at tiling the small bathroom under the stairs in my own house. Don't know whether I should tile the underside of the staircase (not sure whether this is classed as wall or ceiling!!) or just the walls (hope that makes sense!!).

    Cheers

    J

good point. I've just never actually seen any toilet under a set of stairs that's been tiled so unsure as to the standard

Personally I tend not to tile on ceilings, or overhead locations. The reason being is that eventually the tiles will come down, maybe not in five years time, maybe not seven years time but due to gravitation and movement the tiles will come down.

I don't want any tiles that I have put up dropping on anybodies head.

hello there buddy i wouldn't tile the underneath of the stairs i'd just tile up to them, as Dave said the vibration of people walking up and down the stairs could well dislodge a few if not all the tiles, good luck
