Hi all,
i'm wondering about how you all buff up the marble after you lay it.
I'm on 150m2 + at the minute and its hard and heavy going, any handy way of buffing would be great, lol.

Hi
Wow!!! that's a decent size job. If it's polished marble it shouldn't need any buffing provided you have worked clean and got all the grout haze off.
If however, you have some slight marked areas I would suggest you hire a rotary scrubber/polisher preferably low RPM 150-225 is best. When you hire them they normally come with a scrubbing brush and a drive board. Buy yourself some "00" Wire Wool attach it to the drive board and then buff the area with it. This will romove any light marks and reshine the marble for you. As with all my advice "Do a test area first in an inconspicuous place"

Thanks Kev and Doug,
i am working very clean,120m2 of it is 600x400x20mm crema marfil and 35m2 is polished 600x600x15mm,no probs there.
i haven't sealed or grouted yet as i'm still laying, its just after the final sealing i know a light buffing improves the look of the crema marfil to no end.
it's good to hear different opinions on it.
