Default Filling in a big hole

Got a small repair job on Friday. Plumber has had to replace leaking water pipes and created a hole about 20cm wide,30 cm long and 6cm deep at deepest point. Customer wants filling in a tiles putting back on top, tiling looks a doddle assuming i can get them flush......and they are quarry tiles.....should still be fine.
Anyway i was thinking of just getting some rapid set cement and pouring it in, sets in about 12 hours. Could i use rapid set addy or is it too deep? I said i would pop out Friday morning to fill hole and pop back sat, only quoted half day so don't want it to take too long or be too exepnsive!

I'd use Ardex A45 rapid setting repair mortar. Mix it with warm water, get the area filled within 15 mins and it will be rock hard within an hour. Fix the tiles with rapiset, grout, smile, take the money, visit the bank in the afternoon! Saturday off .

no point in mentioning my name in threads headed like this Andy, my posts get rubbed as soon as i start typing, even the clean one i just left....seems to me the forums losing its sense of humour a bit.

Cheers guys, lots of options. Think for cost and the way i'm going to have to do it i'm going to use the postcrete stuff from Wickes. Can't tile on same day as another job on and its only £5 a bag and will be set by the time i get back the next day. Hope the woman appreciates the effort i've gone to to fill her hole!
