    with bal rapidset products do i need to prime the plywood? heard i dont.

    only prime the back face and edges with sbr...no need to prime the face side.... thats using BAL flexible adhesives

    So your preventing any ingress that may cause the ply to fail, then in turn undermind the bond then Dave ye ??

    so they say......always check with the adhesive manufacture for their recommendations........

    You have to follow thier guidlines tony.......ingress for me would be through the joints..and the face isn't primed with sbr..just the back face and edges..so this prevents moisture ingressing that way....SBR is good stuff like....

    Only done first week of course but from what everyone is saying its cheep and quick if in doubt prime and cover ones ass

    Sounds good to me
