I don't have any tile shops particularly local to me, so have to use the local Buildbase. I've compared the prices and the deal I get from them competes with CTD and Topps.

Admitedly, they are virtually next door to Ardex and one of the few Buildbase to stock Ardex product, but I can get bags of Ardex SPF rapid for the same price (sometimes cheaper) than CTD supply BAL SPF rapid.

An 11kg bag of Ardex FS brill white is cheaper than a 10kg bag of BAL micro, too.

I guess it's all about the trust and relationship and how well you negotiate deals.

I was forced to buy a tub of BAL white star from Rigeons today and got the price down to £16.01 inc vat for a 1 off purchase, which I thought was okay????
