    Default mosaic nightmare !!!!

    i have just tiled a wet room in glass mosaics and after grouting noticed very slightly darker lines where i think adhesive is showing through, has any1 ever had this before and is it adhesive? if so how is it best to get rid of the problem? any ideas?

    Have you got pics?
    Did you clean joints before grouting?
    What adhesive and grout did you use?
    What mosaic was it?

    hi there, If it is darker grout lines you are talking about it sounds to me like the adhesive is a darker shade than the grout if this is the case i would say the best way to fix it is to rake the lines out and re-grout. If you have used a ready mixed adhesive it could just be moisture coming through as it would take a long time for it to dry behind glass tiles, a powdered adhesive such as bal mosaic-fix should always be used with glass tiles.
