Just the tiling dave, i think they will be using SLC before i tile from what i have heard today.

Any idea what tiles.....obviosly it is the usual sticky for thermal expansion and that....any expansion joints must be followed etc....
Has the system been tested and brought up to temp and cooled...

SLC..then personaly i would use a flexi one....this is another added layer onto the existing screed so needs to be flexi...mapei fibre plan is spot on for this..

Tiles are pretty much bog standard ceramics, nowt special. It will be tested soon but not as yet.
Expansion at perimeter of room and covered with skirting, dont think anymore will be needed.

You will be ok without an uncoupling membrane neale..but it would give a better failsafe installation...IMO...
If you use a rapid set with admix .. this will give a stronger bed than standard spf rapids..
just a thought...

Yeah i was going to suggest the membrane but i havent spoken with the client yet, just the builder.

Did a conservatory floor not so long back with polypipe UFH.
Customer supplied fast flex (as sold by Topps tiles)
4 bags/bottles of the stuff..........he paid full whack as well and poo-ed himself
