Homelux WP Membrane in the
Tiling Forum at TilersForums;
Can anyone give me some advice regarding Homelux WP membrane.
Can this be applied to a "browning" layer of plaster or does it need to be skimmed ?

Can anyone give me some advice regarding Homelux WP membrane.
Can this be applied to a "browning" layer of plaster or does it need to be skimmed ?
Or am I right in thinking that as you need to apply the membrane with a layer of tile adhesive, you can't go straight onto browning ?
I called it love - the judge called it stalking !!!

I would have the wall skimmed, browning can be powdery

So many plasterers around my way at least, tell clients browning is ok etc..............ok for them after they walk out with their dosh.

PVA is good stuff well for sticking little bits of paper together

Having to prime the substrate was not in any doubt. The question related to Homelux's WP membrane
